Our Safe Caring and Inclusive Schools Committee, which is made up of two parents, two students, Mrs. McGovern and Ms. Raymond, is launching our new Panther VIP Program today.  We will have a different focus each month.  Ballots have been given to all staff members who will give them out when they “catch” students demonstrating the focus skill for the month.  This month’s focus is sportsmanship.  The ballot box will be in the office.  There will be a draw at the end of the month for a prize.  We are also ordering customized water bottles that students can use in class to advertise the fact that they have been recognized as a VIP Panther.  We will draw for a main prize and four more for water bottles every month.  On March 10th we will be hosting a group of varsity athletes from Wilfrid Laurier University called “Team Up” to talk about why sportsmanship is so important.
