The NAM Panthers are pleased to announce our team is ready for registration for the KW Spring Sprint supporting the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada! Join our team for this fun-filled family event on Saturday, May 3, 2014. The Spring Sprint is a 5 KM walk or run at Waterloo Park to raise funds and awareness for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. Teachers, students and families from our community will walk and run in memory of our little friend Nolan, as well as other members of our community who deal with the challenges of a brain tumour every day.
Please remember, this is a family event — teachers are not responsible for students on this day. Please consider registering your whole family for the event! To register, go to the Spring Sprint Site and click on JOIN A TEAM on the right hand side. Our team name is NAM Panthers. Search for that team, then click JOIN. Then you will be prompted to enter your fundraising goals. You can leave this blank and go back and adjust later if you prefer. Each registrant will then create their account, including a username and password. You might consider using the same password for the whole family so you don’t forget! After you are all signed up, you can print fundraising forms, or you can collect funds online. (Note: online is encouraged as there are less people required to count money, and therefore more of our fundraising efforts will go to supporting families and research, rather than paying people to count money!) Any cash or cheques you do collect can be brought to Waterloo Park (Clay and Glass Museum Entrance) on Saturday, May 3, and handed in at the time of registration.
Registration begins at 9am on Saturday, May 3.
Please feel free to contact Mme Clarke if you have any questions about this event! GO PANTHERS! Let’s make a difference!
